Tutor Assistant - Veterinary Laboratory Technology (03 Positions)
Duty Station: Bagamoyo
Job Purpose: you will responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training in Veterinary Laboratory Technology. The role focuses on instructing students in animal disease diagnostics, veterinary microbiology, pathology, parasitology, and the proper management of veterinary laboratory facilities.
1. Duties and Responsibilities
- To prepare teaching manual
- To supervise students’ projects
- To supervise field Practicals and NTA level 6 students’ projects.
- To conduct Research, Seminars, laboratory practicals, and case studies.
- To prepare learning resources and manage veterinary laboratory diagnostic exercises.
- To carry out Consultancy and community services under supervision; and
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Veterinary Laboratory Technology, Animal Health and Production (with strong laboratory bias), or any other equivalent closely related qualification from a recognized institution.
- A person with at least 2 years of working experience in a veterinary diagnostic laboratory and CBET Training will be an added advantage.
