Tutor Assistant - Medical Laboratory Science (03 Positions)

Job Purpose: responsible for delivering high-quality training, laboratory demonstrations, and applied research in Medical Laboratory Sciences. The role focuses on equipping learners with technical competence in clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, parasitology, and laboratory quality control procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To prepare teaching manual
- To supervise students’ projects
- To teach up to NTA level 6 (Diploma)
- To conduct Research, Seminars and case studies;
- To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises
- To carry out Consultancy and community services under supervision; and
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Medical Laboratory Sciences or Health Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with the relevant professional regulatory body (e.g., Health Laboratory Practitioners Council).
- A person with at least 2 years of working experience in a hospital/laboratory field and CBET Training will be an added advantage.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The applicant with working experiences not less than 2 years in the same positions.
