AGRICULTURE - TUTORS - (05 Positions)
Duty Station:
Bagamoyo
Job Purpose: The Tutor is responsible for delivering competency-based training, conducting applied research, and facilitating practical and theoretical learning for students in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. The role focuses on effective curriculum implementation, student assessment, and instilling workplace safety standards and risk management practices in line with NACTVET guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To teach up to NTA level 6 (Diploma)
- To supervise students’ projects
- To prepare teaching manual
- To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises
- To conduct Research, Seminars and case studies
- To carry out Consultancy and community services under supervision
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Holder of a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture General, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field) from a recognized Institution.
- A person with at least 2 years of working experience in the teaching field or with a postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
